What...did I hear more dissing of Red Vipers???? :lmao:
Honestly, I don't think it has to do with owning a Viper....it has to do with that guy just being a class A jerk. I don't think it would make a difference if he owned something else...let's see, so he owns a Porsche and it goes like...
Well, Skeeter, I can't get around my family obligations for tomorrow! :( So, I'll sadly have to pass on the great fall folliage cruise you've set up.
Hope everyone has a great time and leaves the Old Schoolhouse Inn "fat and happy"!
Thanks for arranging....will certainly try to make next...
Hey Mark....nice to hear from you, hope all is well.
Well, I just couldn't justify the net of about $10 after all was said and done....I'd rather just give it to my son to mess around with, as it is very close to "Daddy's". Or, as I mentioned, I might sand it down and paint it pearl white (do...
So, here is what I have in my 1:24 collection:
And, so, not sure what I am missing in 1:24 RT's. So far, have:
- Red
- Yellow
- McViper
- Green
- Blue & White
- White
- Black, no stripes
- Black with silver stripes
- 1992 Pace car (kept it in original marked box)
- White & Blue (White Wheels)...
Nah, still love my red....but do hate distrustful Ebay sellers. He listed the car as new in box....and I get that he changed the wheels, okay, so that was my bad. But, for a good car (red), it isn't a bad deal at US $9.99 if new. But add in US$8.99 for shipping and it's not such a good deal...
Can anyone list the 1:24 RT's that were made? Not sure of any other manufacturers besides Bburago and Maisto. I have probably 13 or 14 (est.), but have not been able to find any that are different than what I have. I already have the two more unusual ones - Silver and all white.
Thanks...
Cool Skeeter, thanks! By the way, are we eating at the "castle" we ate at two years ago or have you chosen a different destination for our stomachs? :)
Okay, that sucked.....car came with the driver's door under the front tire, the thing was totally dusty, had standard gray interior (pic looked like tan) and so on.
He would take it back but I have to pay return shipping.....what a waste....so bad deal and I'm stuck with another red Gen 1...
I'm also interested, Skeeter....you always put on a good event :headbang: and my son really enjoyed the one he went on (he will go again with me).:2tu:
Hopefully it doesn't get cancelled, but if you move it back a week, I will not be able to attend. :(
Thanks!
Well, tried to copy the larger image....I'm sorta bummed if these are other wheels (which it looks like it is). I had stopped collecting and thought this was maybe from outside the US.
Here's a larger picture:
Do you mean these wheels?
What I do notice is that this...
So, just browsing Ebay the other day and I came across a Red 1992 RT10 1:18 scalle by Bburago. What caught my eye were the wheels....not the usual, but it was listed as new in box. For the price, $9.99, figured I'd bid....and I got it.
Since I own a red RT10, I like to pick up different...
Hey Baz, I really liked your garage, it inspired me to do my garage wall next to my RT. While I don't have the space you have, I did manage to get some posters up and even have an SRT Team shot signed by four of the drivers. It's not as cool as your garage and the garages of many of the other...
Nice Baz! Hey, get them laminated and put some of them on the floor for added effect! Could also take a shot at using them on the ceiling, not sure about your wall space! Very cool though!
Well, my wife got called away on business (CA), not back til Tuesday. So, the Viper stays home unfortunately! Been a crazy summer, but hoping to get an event or two in before the bad weather comes. Have a great time tomorrow....caramel mocha latte, please! :)
It's possible I might want to go with one of my kids. Depends on a few things, family obligations that day, weather, what time you consider "early"...especially since school has started and they get up early during the week.
Jimmy (and Gang), I'm sorry to say but scheduling conflicts have nix'd us attending the Splash Brunch this Sunday. This summer has been a bear in terms of scheduling and this weekend is no different! I am hoping to make a few more events before the year is out.
Have a fabulous time at Splash...
