You're the 2nd owner?
Clear title?
Did the rear end noise issue get resolved?
Motor / tranny mounts swapped? (With OEM?) Did that resolve the violent shifter rattle issue you posted about?
Rick,
I can dig up some of my old dyno sheets... The last time I had my car dyno'd at the VOA event at Mayhem it put down 433 rwhp and 473rwtq. (Same dyno has shown as high as 440 rwhp and 480 rwtq with enough time to cool down.) Stock numbers were around 420 rwhp and 456 rwtq. Biggest...
Thanks for the compliment.
First pic is from the Biltmore mansion.... We had a VOA event there last weekend.
The headers, exhaust, brakes and wheels come to $15k to reproduce, so I won't give the car away. If someone wants a stock GTS that needs tires, fluids, water pump and pulley, I'm sure...

Hello All,
I'm looking at getting into a Gen 5. Let me know if anyone on the site has any interest before I post on CL, AT, eBay, etc. This car has been my baby and have owned it for nearly 5 years. This is the longest that I have ever owned a sports car (normally get something...
Re: Forgestar F14 wheels in stock! Ready to ship. 19/19 and 19/20 for all gen Viper
Tony, what do you suggest for tires on a 19/19 set up? I don't want Invos as I'll l be doing some road courses this year.
I like Invos for the 1/4, but too greasy for VIR
Base price is just over $51k. Your friend threw on $20k in options.
Z06 msrp hasnt been released yet, but it will he a little more than the C6 version. You have to keep in mind that C6 Z06 prices are $75k base to over $100k with all bells/whistles and aero package/track tires.
This car will sink Gen 5 prices....fast. Good for those of us that are waiting for the right deal...ha!
The C7 Z06 will probably run high 10 second quarter miles and have a base price of $78k. GM will sell a **** ton of them. Looks are important to me and i still dont care for the rear...
As was already stated...the Viper will perform on the track and throw down some impressivenumbers, but it will not be reviewed well by the rags. LL is all about track times... I can see it beating the 2008 ACR, but not the Mosler cars (they list all the past #s every year.)
I think we're all ruined...
I normally go a year, at most two before buying another sports car. I've had my Gen II GTS for 4 years. I can't see getting rid of it..... unless it is for a Gen IV ACR or a Gen V.
