Striped cars come with black painted defuser due to there is no way to cleanly paint the stripe through the defuser. Overspray, paint lines, and rub out issues. Dont have an answer for the black vs no black on non-stripe cars...but obviously could be mistake, or a cost savings as you dont have to control both painted and unpainted fascias, etc., its always a cost benefit to build something one way.
