the radar mount is from Custom Made Connecting Mount for Radar Detector on 350Z and other Cars
when it is installed it does face the driver .... the clip that usually works with the suction pads for the windshield install fits into the mount ... it fits into the mount without the suction cups obviously.. i just bent the clip so the detector would face straight down the hwy
it is wired to the mirror using the invisicord

Great car. Have some safe fun. I love the mods even though I am a stock guy. But "Polk" speakers in that expensive of a car? That's like buying a black & white television to use with a $10,000 home surround system. But, I guess in a Viper you don't drive it to listen to fine music... the cars too loud anyway.

I have one more mod that you must consider. A different license plate frame for the back. That frame has a Chevy emblem on it...
