One thing I do freely here (often to my detriment), is communicate my dissatisfaction with Vendors and forum members when we have issues with getting things resolved in an amicable and fair manor.

Something I don’t do so well is communicate when something is right. Its not that I do it on purpose, its just that I tell myself "well of course dealing with this person is a good experience, everyone knows that, why bother.."

Well let me just say, I have slammed Jon B a ton in past posts (over what honestly were trivial issues on my part), and he and I severed our ways a couple of years ago. Well Jon did something that took a lot of class and character, about 4 months ago he sent me an email extending an olive branch. He didn’t do it to make money, I think he genuinely did it because he gets me, he knows I have turrets syndrome sometimes :p , but that I truly have Viper Blood in me and I truly believe in the Viper Family.

Ever since that email, Jon and I have been doing a significant amount of business together. He is My single source Viper Drug Dealer. And the product is so good, I just cant help but come back for more.

Now, let me also tell you what prompted this post, some things also didn’t go as perfectly as I wanted them to, and in my normal fashion I have these extremely high expectations of what customer service I should receive regarding them. Guess what, Jon B surpasses my expectations each time.

When things go right, big deal, everyone’s happy. When things don’t go as planned, that’s where I think the true character of a person comes out, well Jon B has shown me nothing but world class service, trust and respect.

THANKS JON B and Parts Rack !! You have 2002_Viper_GTS_ACR's stamp of approval!! :2tu:

I had mentioned my dissatisfaction some time ago about JonB's customer service (everything fine with the order), but that was about 5 years ago now, and he did a similar thing by sending me an email followup. Just recently I used him again for purchasing a set of tires, and the experience was much better, glad to have done business with him.

I had mentioned my dissatisfaction some time ago about JonB's customer service (everything fine with the order), but that was about 5 years ago now, and he did a similar thing by sending me an email followup. Just recently I used him again for purchasing a set of tires, and the experience was much better, glad to have done business with him.

Hey look at that, the 3 Jo(h)n's playing nicely. :) Yeah, you cant go wrong with getting tires through Jon B !!


Jon A's definitely a difficult motel customer when other people dump their bar tabs on his room.

lol, fortunately you guys never pulled that one off on my room. You guys have done it to each other, but I got out unscathed on that little treat.

I had a sour experience with Jon about 4 or so years ago. Of course it was all of about 30 seconds and I have done my best to buy everything I could from any source other than Partsrack.

Times they change, I think I will give him a try. Good post.

If my post gives just 1 person a thought about giving Jon B a second chance, then I truly feel good. I wont tell you Jon is an Angel or walks on water. But if you get past his harshness (at its only situation, busy day, previous cranky customer, etc) you will find out that he is a TRUE Diamon in the rough for Viper club. I say let him be cranky (just like he lets me be cranky) and let him help you get the right part, make the right decision on what you need, and give you the fairest price possible.

He is good stuff, if his personality isnt to your liking, just let that part go, because his dedication, trust and commitment to your satisfaction regarding something he has sold you, is 2nd to none. :2tu:

Give him a second chance, if something doesnt go right, and you dont think Jon B took care of you like you felt he should, give me a call/pm first and while I'm nothing special to Jon B, I'll do my part to make sure you are as satisfied with him as I am.

JonB has been good to me. But, I'd like to suggest that if you don't want to take a chance on his "mood" when you call, then just email him.

We actually have two levels of customer service. One for the paying customers, and one for the non pays....Guess which one you fall into?
