1 Person Hood Lift

[SYNFULL]

I think it would be pretty easy to modify this setup to easily lift the hood off the car to work on the engine if you have no helpers available. My kids hate when I call them into the garage to give me a hand.
What do you think?

I never had a problem lifting the hood by myself.

Then again I'm 6'6"
