It's official! As of yesterday, I exceeded 100k miles of Viper driving, 80k in the RT/10, 20k in the SRT - in a little over 7 years!

I am looking forward to a free new Viper for this accomplishment! Thanks in advance VCA! :2tu:

Congrats! I think AL/TN can contribute:2tu:. I'll have to check with Sec/Tres, but I think there might be just enough to buy you a new ACR! Chad, you too :D :bonker::hitfan::deal::eyecrazy::chair::drinker:

Always nice to see a Viper owner who DRIVES his car(s)! Congratulations Slaughter! I'm just over 50,000 miles myself between my '01 and '08.

Don't you love to hear maintenance advice from an owner....and later find that that your "adviser" hasn't even reached break-in mileage on their '96? LOL

I think I've put about 12,000mi. on my PS2s and they're lookin' about 45% left! I love these tires. Last years PS1s got tossed at 11,000mi.

My Mr Goodwrench wheel alignments lasted only 200 and 1,000miles however! I've decided to suffer until I find a place that'll do their alignment for free if they can't do it properly the first time. My 200mi. alignment cost me $318. and the second alignment cost me another $126 since they only did the front wheel that could be seen crooked. All it took to ruin the alignment the first time was a good stomp on my Roe 14" brakes driving a smooth road. PS2s too much traction??? Next time I'll tack weld the washers.

Nice! You will probably have driven 200K miles before you ever see mine run:drive:

You don't drive yours or what? Note the free Carolinas dyno day in Charlotte on Oct. 18th (see the Carolinas forum)!

Nice! In Manhattan, that's like at least twice as many!

100K miles vehind the wheel of a Viper (or Two)?

What's that, like 20 sets of rear tires?:lmao::omg::lmao:

Hah, not hardly, you should see how bald I get them! Maybe 2 starting sets, and 5-6 changes? Daily driving means no time to stop and change tires ;)

Congrats on your accomplishment! Here is the odometer off of one of our club member's car once he reached the 100k mark and the write up I did about it.

You must be registered for see images attach

Neither rain, nor sleet, nor snow… No, I’m not taking about the U.S. Postal Service, I’m talking about a certain Viper owner from Missouri! The odometer above may look familiar because it’s from a ’97 Viper GTS. However, the mileage on this one probably is a little more than you’re used to! This is the odometer of Gateway Member Tom R. In April of this year, Tom clipped the 100,000 mile mark on his GTS. He is only one of a few owners in the country who have reached this pinnacle. Tom drives his Viper almost every day, and yes, even in hail! A huge congrats to Tom and his Viper GTS on this accomplishment. Just how reliable has this car been that sits outside every night? Besides a new clutch, a gear issue, water in a fog light, and some new gaskets, it’s been one of the most maintenance free cars. Oh, and if you’re not familiar with the rare fog light fish, ask Tom about them sometime. They go by genus and species: Dodgeophilleous Viperacceleratous! What’s the next stop for Tom? 200k

Oh hell no, I've put 65K miles on it, but half of its life has been in a shop it seems like. This time around the car is in Sumter, SC, the motor is in Cocnord, NC, and the heads are in Houston, TX. Going into month 7 of an all motor build.

I'd like to make the dyno day, but don't know where the car would be by then.

WAY TO GO:headbang: Not many will ever reach that many miles. I may possibly hit it by year end next year. I'm at 82,000 miles on the RT/10 since 4/2000 and 4500 miles on the ACR since 8/06 right now. We live with 5-6 month seasons here. We've averaged about 1650-1700 miles per every month of driving season.

I think we should have a 100K miler club for those with 100K of their own Viper miles :drive:. You may be the first in it on this forum.

STOP!!!! I want to buy a low milage Viper. Just kidding. Congrats on the miles, I have had 3 Dodge vehicles (not Vipers though) and never had any problems with them. I have a combined 210,000 miles. Only one warrenty issue between the 3 of them.

I hope to be able to drive one a lot also.

Pretty impressive ,but there is a sweet little Southern Miss from around Atlanta that has 108K on her 2000 GTS and 76K on her 04 SRT-10 -------------so the Viperess has you beat, ha!

:2tu:

Congrats on your impressive carbon footprint, hehe.

Congrats. You have me beat. 80,000 in 4 Vipers. Almost 20,000 in my M5 in one year! (and it burns gas as bad or worse than Viper)

We should have a club and get special VCA accolades!

Chuck on here surely is 100k+ of driving as well, probably a couple of others.

I have to think about this. I kind of drive em and periodically get a new one as a replacement.

My '94 had 20K, my '97 had 60K, my '01 had 30K, my '03 had 64K and my '08 has 6K....hmmm that adds up to 170K.

Do I get to join the Club?
