She was a street bike, and I had LOTS of fun with that bike on the street. I got 10,000 miles out of the fully built motor, before a failed water injection system took out one of the pistons, while I was racing a friend with a Supra. I took it to the track once, and ran a 9.94 @ 158.39 mph with a 2.0 60', and partial throttle for the first two gears, since I had about 257 whp then. I tried WOT my next pass, and wheelied the bike about 300' past the tree in first gear, set it down, wheelied in 2nd gear, and just parked the bike after that. Wasn't trying to loop a bike I brought to sell.

I should have sorted out the suspension, but I only took the bike to the track to sell it. Ended up making some passes because I couldn't resist the temptation to race it. Similar powered bikes have gone 8.50's at 160+ mph...just needed a good rider to pull it off on mine. I believe there is video of the wheelie on Streetfire, video of me racing a friends 1021 rwhp cobra when I had low boost (200 whp), and video of my 9.94 pass. Search for Malu59RT or Turbo GSXR-1000. If I remember, I'll post it when I can access streetfire and youtube at home.

I purposely waited for them to get out, so I could focus on a good launch. My intention was to focus on a sub 11 e.t., with my street tire, not beating the guy in the next lane. I have pretty decent R/T most of the other time . Also, my friend Mike was there cutting 1.8x 60's on his modded 08 with fairly new Invo's. The track and those tires = win!

Yep, knew it wasn't exactly factory stock, and have no problem admitting it. That's the way the car has been for practically all it's life, I've been intent on showing how good these cars perform stock. Many people at the track were amazed to find out I didn't have any mods!


It annoyed me to no end how negative he was, and close minded about reality.

560whp stock, 553whp without the mufflers. I contemplated adding them on for these passes, but decided against it. About to head to a dyno day today, I will see what she runs there.

Jason's Viper is a freak...we dynoed them back to back and it put down 17-20 rwhp more than my 08. My best stock Dyno was 542rwhp to his 560rwhp!

Oh, btw. 99FRC ran the 11.07 on his FIRST pass, on Invo street tires, right after he got there, with a 1.85 60', and a heat soaked motor. Who says you can't put the power down when you are making over 550rwhp?

FYI, just to end the speculation, 1BADGTS received a 2 week suspension. He will (if he chooses) be back. This is our standard practice....1st strike carries a 2 week vacation, 2nd strike is permanent.
