2001 RT 10 Idle Problem

I own a somewhat modified 2001 RT 10. Headers/cam/rockers/exhaust/intakes/etc

A problem has cropped up that as I drive the idle wants to stay at 2000RPMs. The result is lugging in gear and a 2000RPM high speed idle when I take it out of gear and put it in neutral as I slow for a stop.

The idle returns to normal as the speed of the car goes under 10 MPH.

I have replace the throttle position sensor.

Any experience with this?

Do a search for "hanging idle". There have been various reports / solutions. If all else fails, a Roe PCM will do the trick, but at quite an expense.

Sounds like the car needs a VEC 2 and a tune with those mods?
