3rd time the charm.

I just ordered my 3rd Viper, (details noted in subject line) from Hendrick Dodge at an UNBELIEVALBE price.

Joel Smith (General Manager of Hendrick Dodge) has truly turned that place in to a "have no other choice but to pick us" dealership. The cut to the chase, direct pricing, easy to talk to, order/sells you what you want approach is simply refreshing.

Sorry for the Love fest, but I thought I was done with Vipers, until I realized I cant live without one... and Joel made it sooooooooo easy to come back to the family.

I recently traded my GTS for the 06 Coupe and really like the new car! It still gets the looks but is much more enjoyable to drive than my GTS.

Yeah, I drove the heck outta my Dad's 2005 srt-10 before giving it to him, so I know the cars are easier to drive, they also perform better over all, per my experience. I still love the Gen 2, and honest to god, didnt think I would be back to Viper Land until the new monster is unleashed in 2008. But when I stumbled on the Viper Slate Crystal Perl photo, it stopped being a question of what car next.

I am so excited about this car, its unreal. I'm giddy like a school girl, all over again... and Vipers seem to be the ticket to do it for me.

I ORDERED IT.. its like the only color schema I have NOT seen pictures of yet.. but Andrew/USPower or whatever his name is, has 2 photos in his profile of the cars color. So I liked it so much that I ordered the car !

I know the feeling.

My wife and I had just gotten home from picking up our Silver SRT/10 in NC and saw that post & picture and we both just looked at each other like S#1^! Should we sell the Silver for the Slate? My wife loves the coupe and of course I want HER to be happy so I'm sure my purchase won't be to far behind yours. Beautiful car, I'd like to see it with the strips.

How long till you get it Jon?

Gonna love knowing that I actually ordered it exactly to my spec with color combo and options... its a Jon specific version !! I wonder if it will get me to a lower number then 22, like I had with the ACR.

So I'm confused. When I go to Dodge.com and look at the viper I don't see this color offered at all. What am I missing? (And don't say a brain! )

Hey.. CAAP Delivery is not a bad idea.. damn...

Let me call Joel and Check, saves the whole hassle of flying to NC just to pick the car up. Although I do have family there... so... going to NC wouldnt be an issue.

I always mod.. lol.. not sure yet.. probably want to see what kinda times I can get completely stock with the car first. I'd like to see if I can pilot some great numbers for the coupe. I have decent Drag racing skill.
