Just a curious question.
Anyone have an idea what the service life on the clutch / pressure plate etc of a 2009 ACR would be?
Im talking a non tracked car here... with the odd rip up and down the street.

If you don't slip it, .................it should last a long time.

I have been pretty abusive at times with mine, and it's the original gen III single disc.
The gen IV dual disc is supposed to be even more durable.

normal put put driveing iv seen them go for 140 to 150 k miles, no matter what kind of car it is if you know how to use a clutch, my acrx clutch i never abused, just from heavy load torque, it was still good after 2500 miles, but i could see the torque load marks from extreme stomping on it, but probably would go another 5 or 6k miles, i just changed it out to a bbg system.

My 09 ACR clutch is fine even with some track time and they will last a long time given the proper care. Frequent or at least per the service manual changing the fluid is most important as are all the fluids.

a clutch could last, one weekend, or 250,000 miles. All depends whos driving, and how.

No tracking and 'very easy' driving on my car and got a whopping 12,500 miles out of my stock clutch.

I'm the 2nd owner and I purchased my Viper with 3900 miles on it about 2 years ago ....Lots of burn/scortch marks on the flywheel..........hmmmm, rough 3900 miles - looks like it........

I depends on how you drive, but expect 30k on the stock clutch before pedal effort gets heavier and engagement less smooth. Highway cars can go a lot longer. If you drag race, they can go anytime.

Driving in a parade is ******* Vipers. -they hate it.
All that slow, stop and go....slipping it cuz first gear is too fast at idle.

The racetrack is way easier on the clutch than a parade.
-or a traffic jam. :crazy2:

10,500 of mostly track miles on my Gen4 including standing mile and drag starts. Still holding strong. Knock on wood. :)
