I too have had the pleasurable experience of being put in my place by ViperJon.

The irony of those comment is ViperJon used to be "VetteJon" as a former vette owner himself.

Welcome to the CLUB, I guess, right? Thanks for the post. I LMAO when you let the cat outta the bag re:VetteJon - ironic indeed!!

You need a vette too....

Jokin with ya friend. In all seriousness they had a silver 03 or 04 still selling new back in 07 here in hawaii...

Pretty common for vipers to sell new a year or two later. Your talking about an 88-115k car depending on options thats quite rare

Ummm...let's see....."My" claim about the fastest production car...
Pretty sure it's not just my claim about the production car record...apparently the VCA thinks so too...and SRT...and Dodge....virtually every legitimate source...
Oh...and did I forget to mention the ten or more tracks around the US that the ACR holds the production car track record at...oops....silly me..
You noobs should really read and learn more about the car you own.

Jon stop confusing people with the facts!

Um, VetteJon, without knowing context the above #s are not very helpful...In an effort to extend an olive branch, below is some data for you:

11-20 Average Time: 3.317 seconds
21-30 Average Time: 3.318 seconds
31-40 Average Time: 3.319 seconds
41-50 Average Time: 3.320 seconds
Total Average Time: 3.333 seconds

These are results from our local PineWood Derby

I know that ViperJon is quoting to various track record times for a production car, I have no idea what the freak your post means???? Are those 0-60 times? For what car? I hate n00bs, yes to me you're a noobie :)

Nobody knows what the freak this guy says Ron, but it hasn't slowed him up.
Without knowing context....those are called best track times at the track listed...by the Viper ACR...

The Nurburgring time might have been a clue if you knew the slightest thing about Vipers..

By the way Julie, I've owned four Vipers and two Vettes.

He’s a poser :) but hey that’s ok too, justknow that if you are a poser and pretend to know about a driver’s car like theACR you will be called out. Some guys should never consider an ACR :)

Go get him Jon

I believe that Silver04 is a nice guy who is very friendly and likeable in person no doubt.
He's just a little (lot) out of his element on this topic but likes to have the last word.

It's amazing how folks that have been in a club for awhile just expect the new folks to pick up where they are w/o missing a beat. :dunno: These are the same folks that were probably bullies in HS...Weren't y'all new once?

Yeppers, poser me - I have nothing better to do than sit here and talk about ACR race times, cam angles, six degrees of seperation. I don't care what you talk about, I joined VCA for the camaraderie, not to talk about Newsterburger times. This thread started 16 years ago with a simple ? from v10 about the green car. I asked if it was odd that it was still on the lot. Now y'all are having a viperalley-like moment of butt-splunking. I will not be responding in this thread anymore.

Darn it, maybe I should just let my hair grow long, breathe, or go get some mayo :smirk:

Nice work getting this data in one place. I'm going to save this somewhere it might come at handy when having the "vipers can corner" discussion with friends. Thanks ViperJon wish you have had added some reference links though.

Getting back of subject that's a nice ACR hope the OP can get a hell of a deal on it.
