WHO: Vipers !!! (and, of course, all Italian rides....including motorcycles and even tractors!)
WHY: Proceeds benefit the Dave Thomas Foundation for Adoption

In 2009, they set aside a section of the parking area for the Viper cars.

We all had a great time and got to see some nice Italian engineered rides and meet super-nice folks.
And it's all for a GREAT cause!

I met with the event organizer a few weeks ago and he asked me if the Viper folks would like the same setup for 2010. I said, "YES!"

It's a very relaxed atmosphere and with Fiat now owning Viper, it's a great chance to gather with our new step-brothers and sisters to talk about the past, present and future of our beloved rides.

You can't be talking about my car. It was probably the dirtest one there, and probably will be worse this year. Poor thing has been sitting in garage uncovered all year. I just haven't had time to drive it or detail it this year. Was even thinking of paying someone to do it, I'm getting lazy in my old age.

Yep as long as it's not raining I should be there. I asked a friend last night if he wanted to ride over, so whenever he shows up on Sunday we'll head over.

I got an email from Konza800 today.
As he's on a plane back from China at the time of this post, he's 50/50 on making it on Sunday depending on how fierce his jetlag is.

Weather looking good. Countach is the featured car this year, they are expecting 20-25 of them. Saw a few tonight. Should be a good time tomorrow. Checked out the route for a short cruise today if anyone is up for it.

Given that it is 3:30 am and I am still wide awake, I doubt that I will drive anything. I'll let Karen do the driving this time. But Karen will tow the Viper to Columbus just like last year. Mid-Ohio is next weekend and remember, I have to save the miles for the track. LOL

Well guys I'm out. My well pump took a dump lastnight. So I will be working on putting that in with a new softner & preasure tank, inline filters etc, so my day is shot. ***** was looking forward to this all year. Have a great day and takes lots of pics for me.

I think the final count was 11 Vipers & 2 Viper trucks! Thanks for coming out everyone. It was a great event with lots of nice cars. I'm sure pictures will follow once everyone gets back home.

We end up with a few late arrivals, 14 Vipers and 2 Viper trucks, and signed up two new VCA Ohio Viper members!!!!!

Maybe all Vipers owners should consider modifying their Vipers to the lambo doors. That will give us a Viper shot with doors in the air just like the Lamborghinis.
