Can I still use the old hard top for helmet clearance on track days or does the new set up not allow an easy switch back and forth? My seat is already dropped 2” and helmet is tight. Why are you selling?

Kevin, sport bar somes off and you have to replace the holding pins, you would have to wrench those out each time I believe (not positive).

Did you look on the AP site at the installation?

SOLD my car.....so top and exhaust got to go.......

The pins stay in the car after intial installation. The sport pad gets a slight mod to slide over the pins.

I have the same top and THAT is a GREAT DEAL!
Anyway about the question about the old hard top. You WILL have to change out pins everytime, BUT it isn't a big deal. Since what? You probably race one a month if that right? So take 15 minutes to change it back and once your done with the track, do it over again. Not a problem, buy it buy it.
Man you won't regret it, I LOVE my 3 piece top!

Hmm...I see they now have a one-piece top painted in the customer's choice of factory Viper color for $2195. I might look further into this.

I had Jeff install my three piece. I drove to his place with the OEM top on, he installed the pins and top and then I put the tree piece in the trunk and drove home with the OEM top. I now have both, and am going to use the OEM top for track days.
