Anybody have any success with these? They just seem so cheap that I would hate to buy one, save $25 over the name brand and fry a $100+ battery. Any issue with float/tender feature? There is a Harbor Freight 5 min from my house and If i get some positive feedback I might consider getting one.

Ive used them for years, on all kinds of cars and all kinds of batteries...

Boat, cars, motorcycles....

Better float and tender I have yet to find.

Had one on my Viper for years, hard wired for about a year and a half.

The technolgy involved to make these things is minimal at best. I've got 3 Black & Decker tenders that I paid $12 or $13 bucks each for. They have the option of 1 or 2 amp charge rates. They've been working fine the last 3 yrs or so. Had DY posted this before I got what I have, I would have snapped a few of them up instead. The brand name companies have been taking it to the bank in wheel barrows for a long time with such devices.
