You may have seen my previous post about a Kansas City VCA member's self-designed front splitter. Well, he has been working on it and it looks even better than it did before:

What is interesting is that the new design is thinner at the back and conforms to the shape of the car more. It is actually a flat piece that goes across completely under the front fascia from wheelwell to wheelwell. Even uses two of the frame bolts to stay in place. Very nicely done! If anybody wants to drop Michael a note about it, feel free to do so at [email protected] Hope you like!

What is the purpose of this mod? Is it apperance only? Looks good. Your SRT looks so bad ass beside it too though :2tu:

LOVE IT!

WOW! What a great idea!

How 'bout making 'em in black for a bit of contrast.

He is building these unpainted and you can choose any color you like. They are VERY well made and even have a curved metal reinforcement inside the front lip. While probably more of a cosmetic upgrade than anything else (no wind tunnel testing in his garage), he knows that it was very stable at 150 MPH. Gives it more of that "Comp Coupe" look on the fascia. And would probably look great in black too!

As for the side splitters, they are from Autoform. Originally shipped unpainted, you can go with any color you want on those as well. Nice stuff for our SRT's!

Chris, can you get a dead-on picture to compare to the comp coupe? Obviously not the same without the wide wheel wells, but I'd be interested on how they look side by side

Definitely a different look, largely because of the center post and the thickness of the splitter itself. Both look great!
