I purchased the car with 1400 miles on it. When I purchased it, the ABS light was on. I talked to Chuck Tator that recommended disconnecting the battery and waiting a few second and reconnecting. Did not turn it off. I would like to maybe unplug the computer. I think it may be a false reading. I have put 1500 miles on it and it is still on.

Any one else have this. Is there a easy fix or maybe something is wrong with the ABS..

Go to an AutoZone. They have a diagnostic code reader they'll plug in (and sell for about $100) that may give a more decriptive clue about what's wrong. They do this for free, hoping to get your purchase of the parts to fix it.

I think this still works, too. Key on-off-on-off-on and let the dash lights go out. The yellow light will then begin to blink a series of two digit numbers. You can look up these code numbers in a service manual, or post here and someone else will decipher them for you.
