I have read in the past about the ACR rattle. Mine is a 2000, is it the shocks that cause the rattle or, what??? Also, how is it corrected. And, is there a recall on the five point belts???

Thanks, guys I will look into your posts. Will have the belts replaced. I can live with the shock rattle of the Koni's. Its is only on super ruff roads.

Hey, whats up Greg. We were coming home Saturday from the Viper club meet. And, we decide to go eat in Mesquite. When we left BlackEyed Pea I had a line of cars chase me on the Highway. The first was a white saleen with nitrous. Very fast car, we ran from 20 to about 130. Put about 11-12 cars on him. Next was the LS1 in Rowlett.

Hey, Dan type this WWW.ls1.com lowercase letters. They are talking about my car in the Texas section. Dan, have you had the recall on your belts? Or, did you have the new belts in the car when you bought it???

7/16" bolt in a 9/16" mounting ear = Shock Rattle

One fix is to tighten the bolts when the suspension has static preload on it. The other is to machine some bushings to alleviate the slop between the hole ID and the bolt OD.

Free fix. You're welcome.
