I understand that addig coolant at the heater provides max coolant fill. Which hose is removed?
Difficult?
Anyone have pics?

This is the hose in the picture on the right. It is a bit tricky.

You can pick up a 't' fitting (with a screw cap) at any auto parts store - that will splice into the heater hose - then you can inspect and add coolant
through the removable cap.

What HP said... cost is about 5 bucks or so. It's a "T" that is used with a Prestone Radiator Flush kit or similar. Works great!

Ulysses,
What makes it tricky?
Which end of the hose should be unclamped?

The heater hose on the right side of the on/off valve(rt side of picture) is
easier to deal with, because it's straight. But go buy a plastic T ,
because you will wear the hose out if you continually remove it.
