Advice neeed on tune

I have k&n, headers, exhaust, and soon my x-metal tb will be in. I have been told I need a dyno tune. I read about DC Performance and RSI. I am looking for feedback. is either better. My plan was to get the dyno here locally and then send off the info and get a new computer and have it programmed, keeping my original for safe keeping. I would appreciate any input. oh, and if it makes a difference, I plan on installing a s/c this year...later on.

I did same thing you did, i dyno'd then sent info from dyno so DC Performance could do the best they could. i have a spare computer so that my stock one is always handy. DC would get my vote.They do nice work.

If it were me, I'd call DC and see what they think about your current mods to see if they're 'safe' with the factory tune.

Once you get the S/C, you'll need a RE-Tune anyway, so maybe you could just save your $$$ for now - assuming your not in danger of running lean or anything.

Another option that I think DC sells as well is the hand held programmers with tunes for your application. I would love to hear more feedback on these.

I spoke with DC. They said they have not worked out all of the glitches on the handheld unit yet. He also said headers tend to lean it out, so I will go ahead and tune it now and again when I get the sc. I would have already had it done except the x-metal tb has not come in yet.

I have the same mods you do on my 2006 SRTC without the larger throttle body. I also bought another computer and had it tuned by DC.

Results were good. Headers and K&N's tend to increase air flow into and out of the engine enough on a hot Texas day that you'll see leaner air fuel ratios. This is not worth messing with - these engines are too expensive.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but I think RSI is out of business.
