What is the average age for Viper owners? Have any numbers been done?
I am 60 and I feel like an old man compared to the pictures I see on all the posts.

I'm 36, and I do feel like a young pup at the monthly meetings. If I hadn't been in the right place at the right time I wouldn't have a Viper.

In SoCal, a lot of the members are fully gray, many fully bald. The Viper is kind of like a mid-to-later life crisis sports car, for some.

I was 29 when the first RT/10 came out, but didn't get my GTS until I was 40. Dang, where do the years go? Time is speeding up.

I'm 25 now, bought my Viper about 2 months before I turned 24 (that would've made me 23 for those playing at home). But I had been a Viper NUT since 92'...I knew I'd own one one day, but honestly buying it so young really did surprise me. I hit my midlife crisis early :) The GA club seems to be mostly guys in their 40's-50's

If that was your young midlife crisis, I wonder what will happen when you hit 40  . Murcielago? Enzo? :D

23 now, 21 when I bought the car! I'm spoiled for life now, I'll never be able to own a car with less than 400 horses!

Don't worry about it. Get one and have fun like Bob Woodhouse does. He finished 7th this year in World Challenge.

I'm 46. Got my first Viper at 38.

But there is a big difference between club members and
total ownership. Generally car club guys tend to be older
because they have more time to dedicate to activities. 20yos
driving vipers are usually the 110/hr week power workers
trying to establish themselves in whatever career they're
working. When I was putting in 70/hr a week I found it really
hard to be part of any club - if I didn't love the car as much
as I did I probably wouldn't have bothered.

For the record - bought mine at 25 almost 4 years ago today.

You gotta have this number wrong, because they didnt HAVE vipers when you were in high school, if you are really 46. And with my quick math, Im 33, and I graduated Highschool in 91, and even then vipers werent out yet, didnt show on the scene till 92. So your number is off, either your not 46, or you were smokin crack/had a crystal ball in high school and had visions of the future. :D

1st House 25
2nd House 27
1st Viper 29
2nd Viper 32 (bought for dad)
3rd House 33
3rd Viper 33

Still 33 :) :2tu:

I guess I had mid life crissis a few times already.. lol.. :nana:

Bonkers I did not know you were under 30 but then again if I really think about it, it does make sense.

29 when i got my RT, noticed at the Dallas VOI how old everyone else seemed ;)

our UK club has a load of youngsters, under 40's :) Nadine was 23 when she got her brand new GTS and Baz is still a whipper snapper having only just reached 30, think he got his first at 23/24

I was 11 when the Viper came out. It was followed by 13 years of this conversation:

Me: Hey dad, buy me a Viper
Him: No
Me: Why?
Him: You're 11 and we can't afford it
Me: So? You shouldnt have had me if you can't afford to support me
Him: I feed you right? Thats good enough
Me: Keep the food, just buy a Viper
Him: How bout I work more and spend the extra money to get you counseling?
Me: MOM! Daddy said he wont buy me a Viper!
Her: You'll get one one day when you have a good job and can buy it yourself
Me: Yeah, right, I'll be too old by then

I guess mom does know best :)
