I have a stock 96GTS, what items need replacing soon? Would like to get them b4 it's too late. I already bought the clear covers over the fog lights.

try to find both sides of door stansion covers with GOOD stripes attached to it, because they crack and go bad ALL the time and everyone knows that, and worst is dealer charge over $300 for each side, i just replaced both side on my car, by the way, i still got 1 more driver side stansion cover with good strip on it for sale, so e-mail me and let me know, thanks

I presume the Gen I/II will someday be a collectible folks will want to restore. It would be nice if the VCA stepped in while everything was fresh in people's minds and put together the information to EXACTLY recreate anything on the car. Basically, use the VCA connections within DC to get all the manufacturing information (specs, vendors, etc...) for parts as DC drops them.

I know today, the focus is on mods, but in the near future we'll have folks wanting to restore their early Gen I cars, and they won't want repliparts they'll want "originals" if possible.

Joe, Is there a plan?

Edward,
Wait a while and there will be more parts for the Viper than now. Including that unobtanium red for the motor.
When in time it hits Icon status and the aftermarket industries come in.

Venomblue 550,
What is the part # for the stansion?
Is the rubber stripe/welting a separate piece and what is the part #? I only need the rubber stripe.
These parts are not covered on the extended warranty(added care)?

first, the stansion cover is NOT covered under any warranty, and the rubber strip is attached to the black stansion cover in one piece, a lots of our cars, they get dry out or whatever, then they break, so you can't really just buy the rubber strip itself, by the way, the strip supposed to be just one long huge piece, go from outside then go over the top then go down inside, i forgot the part #, but call chuck, he will give you the part #, cost $299 each side, thanks
