any power modifications for genV yet?

I am waiting to roll my 2014 GTS off the showroom floor to verify that there are no significant power changes! I have already paid in full and signed documents but will cancel if there are substantial changes that are not retroactive.

my deal was that I had until friday to get my money back and back out of the deal. this is why I did not drive the car off the lot on tuesday. I just want to wait until tomorrow morning for any changes for 2015. I feel confident in picking up the 2014 at this point.

Anything regarding the "2015 Viper" is all bets are off.

Heck, Dodge hasn't even confirmed there will actually be a 2015.

Not sure where you're hearing that Dodge hasnt confirmed that there will be 2015 cars, but they are building 2015 cars NOW. So...
Please provide us a link to an official Dodge source.

Not an official Dodge spokesperson, but whether I like him or not, he does give good info and does know a lot of inside stuff. Check post #39. BTW, that post was made 2 weeks ago.

I highly doubt major changes for '15.
From the plant tour it appeared there may be new throttle body housings (material choice).
PCM's should be available in the next 2 weeks most likely. It will happen. Hopefully some other things.
Headers and exhaust is already available thru the aftermarket. I believe an underdrive pulley is as well from someone (company).

No colors, options, prices have been officially announced, but the cars are being produced????

There are completed 2015s at the VOA hotel. There are no appearance changes. There were also some 2015s in progess on the line at the Assembly Plant. Any other changes, like added electronic features, are minimal. As for a power increase, other than the long rumored five to ten HP bump from a mild calibration tweak that would likely be avaible to all Gen V owners at the dealer, which I would guess will occur, and possibly the new throttle body material choice, there is none. Perhaps, if they do the five to ten HP bump, it might improve mid range power a tad. None of this is a surprise. Discussions of changes that would have involved tens of millions of dollars of R&D and development costs and an engine recertification which, by itself, is very expensive, were interesting but not realistic.
Later on, perhaps this year by late November or December or next year in the early spring, I would guess we will see a variant with more aggressive aero and a somewhat different suspension available. Why? So they can make another Ring run with a Gen V. It is not easy to improve the ACR's Ring performance further since they were already bumping up against the limits of what can be done with down force versus wind resistance on the ACR that ran the Ring last time without active aero. But I do not think we will see active aero. It is just way too costly to develop.
