The only thing I can think of is wash it when you get home. Seriously, I drive my 99 GTS rain or shine and the only 'problem' I've observed is that it get's dirty. I know the Viper has a reputation for not handling well in the rain, but I honestly don't know where people get that idea. The Pilot Sports have plenty of grip and the car is nice and predictable - so no problem.

just dont go exceedingly fast, and watch out for collecting water. DO NOT accellerate fast from a stop or while making a turn. other than that, it isnt really a big deal. I have done about 1000 rain miles, no problems if you are careful.

Take a few with you.
Driving in the rain isn't bad. Remember, EASY on the throttle. Some of the most fun track times are on rainy days.

THe only problem I have seen with the viper is that once it starts to go sideways in the rain it has a tendency to go all the way around. Easy on the throttle in turns.

My Viper does not feel good in the rain.
I also have a Lexus lowered on some type of coils or struts or whatever they are called. Anyway, I paid only $1K for them, and $200 to have them installed. My Lexus feels about 3.476 times safer driving around corners, and about 5.72 times safer in the rain than the Viper. The Viper just does not feel safe.

Make sure you use some rain-x or equivalent.Bad visibility down there in all the rain,spray mist and slop. Bruce

I have driven my GTS in the rain many times. It is actually a pretty good car for winter (snow free) driving. The windshield is a steep rake that the water usually just sheds off it at speed. The wipers are the coolest on any vehicle I have ever seen. And I rarely need to use the heater as the car is always hot. If you have your original tires I would not consider driving in the rain!!

Stay on the gas and brakes HARD , to get the feel of real traction . Push it untill it slides!!!!!!!(both ends)

just drive it..when coming upto sharp turns lay off the gas and let it ride in gear. car pretty much sticks to the ground especially with the pilot sports. avoid puddles. take care

Simple Physics - think about trying to turn a flat bottom boat vs a deep V. Wide tires = a flat bottom boat. The Pilots are good compared to other tires of the same size but hit standing water going fast will be a big problem! If it rains hard slow down or stop for a rest. Hope you have a safe trip.

Get the inside of those sills dry afterwards! Water trapped and sandwiched against the sill by the insulation and heat shield barrier breeds the aluminum corrosion many have seen. Sometimes people park their Viper after driving in the rain and it might take two weeks for that area to dry out considering the lack of air getting into the area.

You can go just as fast in the wet as in the dry....you just can't turn or stop as well. Seriously, get braking done early in a straight line and be judicious with the throttle. With good tires hydroplaning starts at about 9 times the square root of the air pressure. At 36 psi about 54 mph. Of course the you must also look at adhesion the tire is capable of on a slick surface. Figure cornering capability between 33-36% of normal.

i drove down to VOI7 in Nashville in the pouring rain. didn't even realize i was going 85-90 m.p.h. until i looked down at the speedo. no problems at all driving in the rain - though i haven't done it since. don't want to make a habit of it.

On fairly new pilots I ran autoX at the NE Rendezvous in good dry weather to utter downpour and I didn't notice any traction difference.
The only thing I would look for are the obvious slick spots (where the asphalt/concrete has been polished by too much traffic) and off-camber corners (like off ramps) where the weight off the car goes to one side without compressing the shocks.
