I'm in Portland, which is not too far from Salem, and could give you a hand; what are you looking at?
For a thorough inspection, I'd really recommend that you have the guy take it to Timberline Dodge for them to check out. They do a lot of Viper work around here, and quite possibly already know the car.

I'm in Tualatin, OR which is about 30 miles from Salem. I could help you out also.

I agree with obaa996 though that it would be wise to get a thorough inspection done at a qualified dealer.

I wouldn't mind taking an initial look for you if needed.

turns out I ran a carfax on this car and it has had Six owners and was sold at an auction in Florida.

I think I'll stay away from it.
