Looking for a affordable non reclining race style seat for my 94 RT/10. Anyone have some OMP or Corbeau seats? If so what brackets are you using and do they slide?

Yep, I have after market seats in my Gen I. Love the seats! They are Corbeau knock offs, but look great. They required custom brackets to be made in order for a clean install. The seats set me back $249 for a pair of black on Ebay. The best $249 I've spent as they are a cool fabric that breaths and never gets hot under the sun. The wife loves them. The look great with the red and black interior we installed. Would recommend the upgrade to anyone. I'm 260# and the seats have held up without a problem for almost 2 years now. They bring the car in the the current century. Yes, they did require custom brackets to install and they do slide. The brackets cost $30.00 to make.

My brackets were custom made only they don't slide. They are custom bent chromoly and cost quite a bit more than $30. The seats are suzuka cobra model and made of kevlar not fiberglass.

I sometimes want to put the stocks seats back in but I get overridden by the better half. She likes the support of the seats.

Why not just go with some Gen III seats.

That would certainly be cool, however, do they fit? In my experience the floor holes are different between gen 1 and gen 2. I don't know about gen 3 but I'd feel safe betting they are different than the others. I would be interested in knowing if the seat rails from gen 3 fit in a gen 1.

The Gen III seats are big and bulky, I am sure they are also very heavy. Just looking for a lightweight affordable race seat like the momo. I think I will just order it and have brackets made.

I have a set of Sparco Torinos in mine. Like all the others, they required a set of custom brackets (cost about $15 for some 1" square steel tubing), but allow the sliders to work. I "shaved" off one of the back adjuster knobs on each seat to get them to fit. They are nice in that the back angle is adjustable, and there is actually some storage space behind the seats (enough to put my windows and some assorted other (thin) stuff.
