i have done both- caps are dangerous as hell, unless you are just crusin- try to run that car just a little spirited- the car is all loose in a turn- the springs- had them too- rides like a pos! springs are for the trac..imo- i finally after that bought kw,s--- wow completly sole car after that- moral of story- that stuff is a band-aid for lowering the car- period- those caps will take you out if your not on your toes!!

I just putz around town with my car. KW and any other coilover is out of the question. I don't track enough to justify those.

Either way I want to try one or both and if I don't like them I will remove them. I am a very indecisive person, that's why I want a cheap set.

if your gonna go slow-- do the caps cuz you gonna have a good ride--- the springs will make your car ride like complete hell- they are super stiff for the trac- sooooo, if you do trac sometimes-get the springs-cuz the caps will put you in the wall- lol- not funny

Apparently reading comprehension is at an all time low. Not to throw insults out but a couple folks are just not understanding what I am saying.

I am looking for a set of USED eibachs and caps. I'm well aware you can buy them new on ebay and from many vendors. I don't want to buy them new because there is a good chance that after I put them on my car I will remove them. Why waste the extra money on something that will most likely be removed? I am a very picky person and if it does not make me happy they will immediately come off.

I sold my used Eibachs for $250 awhile ago. It's simple Supply/demand as they're aren't usually used ones for sale because people DO like them so when they do come up for sale they sell pretty quick. So all your saving yourself is maybe $50. Being picky is one thing but it's hard to be picky and cheap and get what you want.

Fortunately I have patience :).

And to pull 250 from a used set of Eibachs is impressive. If it was only a 50 dollar difference I would just buy them but I have seen them go MUCH cheaper then that.

Yes I do all my own work so it is fun for me :). I don't want it to ride like a hammer. I want to have these lined up for when I put my new wheels on the car.

Are Gen 2 and 3 the same size??I found them to be too soft therefore the bounce. Definately an improvement over the stock **** shocks that Dodge puts on them. I may be selling mine if they will work on a gen 2.
