becuase over 1 million corvette owners voted be. ford f-150 got best vote also, what does that tell you about the corvette? The day I see a 60 year old woman driving a viper, I will get rid of it.

Hey now Prvtjet, there is a really cool 60ish lady from New Orleans that drives a Viper. It is her second one after she had put LOTS of miles on the first. She has a radar jammer and a radar detector because of to many tickets AND has a concealed weapons permit and is packing.

This was one great lady I met at a Viper Christmas party, she drove 400 miles to attend. She drives the p*ss out of her cars....no garage queen!

So I guess you have to sell yours now!

Contrary to any of the posts above, You can't please all of the people all of the time. Yesterday's show was terrific. Everytime they had a splashscreen in between cars who Didn't see the back end of that gorgeous 96 white RT-10 w/two blue stripes?! They nailed it. The show was great. The only problem that I had was that fool Tyrese's description of driving any car with Halle Berry in the passenger seat whispering the words "I Love You" Sorry, I wouldn't care if I was driving a Blue/White GTS or pedaling a Razor Scooter I still woulda crashed! The only problem that I could find was that 1. There wasn't enough Viper(or Maybe I needed more convincing ;P ) 2.Tyrese was in a 'vette and it wasn't a Z06. 3. I shoulda hosted the show!

from the VOI/SRT Car and Driver show.
Tyrese did try a little hard, but, it was a script
I'm sure.

As for Cobra4B, park your mid 12 second "most popular car" next to my old Dodge and see what happens...although, I'm sure you already know what happens.

Then, take it to the track- drag or roadcourse and see what happens...although, you already know what happens there also.

All about the number of owners of these cars making multiple votes from different computers and since there are more Vettes than Vipers..... Same thing happened in the "tuner" category, the Acura RSX won not the car that I would have voted for, the Supra.

For the record I voted for the Viper and the Supra in their categories

I didn't really think the show was all that great. Yellow Fever was invited to have his car on the show. After seeing how much coverage was not given to any of the cars present, I'm glad we didn't go through the trouble. I would have been pissed to see some actor sitting on the hood of my car or dragging his watch across the door of my Modena. Just my two cents. As far as the Corvette thing goes, go figure. how many hundreds of thousands of Corvette owners are there out there? I don't need any TV show to tell me what the best American super car is.

That lovely little lady from New Orleans has not one, but two Vipers.Now whadda you think she got rid of to get the Red SRT-10 to go with her GTS--- yep, another Vette bit the dust. She commented that the Vette just wasn't in the same league as a Snake,and it needed to go.

I take more credibility from passionate folks like this ,than Spike TV's number game,and yet with the tiny number of Vipers sold to date, it did alarmingly well - especially when you figure the total production of Vipers is about 1/3 of the annual 36K+ run of Vettes.

Hey cobra, We have the same mods. How about we race and do an overview of both cars and air it on spike tv. That way I can show the people that voted for the vette what a bad mistake they made. P.S. you can change your signature now to "'01 Million zo6 371rwhp blah blah blah".

Oh yeah, I know that lovely little lady and what a class act she is. Thank you Bill for selling her the SRT-10 'cause she let me use up an entire tank of fuel one Saturday afternoon and what a car it is! If I ever get my Vipers paid off I'll be getting the latest and greatest Viper SRT.
