I am thinking of taking off my hood line since it's pretty much looks like crap...but I was thumbing through summit and saw that DEI make a 2000 degree heat deflector that I could cut to size under the hood and thought it would serve a function plus make the under the hood appearance look nicer. Anyone do something like this? I know Dan Cragan has his stuff, but it's out of the ball park for me.

Just get a new one painted real pretty in silver and white from Venomblue 550! I think he was selling them for $300 shipped, hard to beat that price!

I don't know why you would want to keep the heat in?
Guess it depends on how much you value your hood. As they're around $18,000 now, it might be worth it.
