Seen it a few weeks ago, I missed the car show was on vacation. I have the BW 97 GTS with 6 spokes, sits on other side of building occasionally.

Made a "local" trade for a red '97 GTS "Gold Edition" (gold wheels and Slippery Pete badges) + cash!

Excited to join the Gen 2 crowd and start modding!

Congrats on the 97... Why did you want to move to gen II from the IV?

I'm looking at modding my Gen II for more power OR going to a Gen IV.

Congrats on the 97... Why did you want to move to gen II from the IV?

I'm looking at modding my Gen II for more power OR going to a Gen IV.

My Gen IV was black and very low mileage so I found I was always too scared to drive it anywhere. The forecast always had a chance of rain or I was worried about where I would park it. Also, I'm a very hands on person and love to tinker with my cars. I found with the Gen IV I couldn't buy or add any parts without spending an arm or a leg and with the ECU locked.

By going to a Gen 2, I can drive it worry free but still have a great looking car that is easily modifiable (boost or N/A HCI) and make lots of power.

Overall for the first two days, my initial impression is that I love the Gen 2 and it drives very similar to my Gen IV. Not as fast, but give it time :)
