Most are similar weight to stockers. Viper stock wheels are heavy unless you had a Copperhead with came with lightest SRT wheels, the "sidewinders".

If you like the wheel and arent racing, then get what you like. I dont know if Asanti has changed much, but they used to have some quality issues and I always thought their wheels were on heavier side. Id probably stay with a common manufacturer of Viper wheels, like Iforged, HRE, CCW or Forgeline.

what Mike said...or look at 360 forged. not crazy about the asanti's myself...high end ghetto wheels :p

just yesterday I had a guy ask me to help him fix one of his asanti's, the chrome bubbled away from the lip of the wheel....it was wierd it just pulled up from the wheel on a flat area of the lip.

Hi
got these for my zo6 vette.
it looks like the chrome is going bad, like within 8 months.
go with something else.the wheels seem to be reasonable quality,
so its a shame the chrome has let them down.
maybe you would be alright with painted ones.

I had 26" asanti wheels on my hummer and they sucked. They looked good, but the quality wasn't there. VERY heavy wheels, and the chrome had minor imperfections.

they are horrible wheels and CONSIDERABLY heavier than stockers (stock wheels are heavy already as it is...). :(

Thanks for the feedback everyone.I did remember reading a while back that they are heavy wheels but quality definately concerns me too.If I dont sell my SSG I will probably go with HRE 546s,Black centers polished lip,had them on my 01 Bee...Thanks Again,Kevin
