Pocono event is on sheduled for 8/21 8am start

It is the long 2.5 mile track will have runs all day long till 5-6 pm please call or mail for reservation news letter is going out next week entry fee includes lunch.

Corner workers needed for payment or 50% reduction of entry fee.
will have a mix of hi performance cars beside VIPERS it should be great day

I just got off the phone with Tony Spina the NJ VCA VP. He says that Donna will be sending out flyers next week regarding Pocono in August.

ANDREW!!! Tony says you better be there!!!

I'll be heading there as my car survived Pocono with PDA. Can't wait then on to Carlisle. Two cars were wrecked at the PDA event 2001 Porsche Turbo and a BMW with 700 miles.

Yes, I'm using the Hoosiers. I've been setting up the car the last couple of days. I've been starting with 28 all around, and I am usually up to about 35 after a run. This was suggested to me by Archer a few years ago at the Glen, and I have used it ever since at every event, and the numbers seem to be right on every time. Archer was very clear that in his opinion, 35 was a good hot temp for Hoosiers.

I've also done a few other things with the car, can't wait to see how things run.

Green & Blue groups are OK with snel 95 or better helmet is OK. Red group must have hard top on

Registration & tech starts at 8am hope to have the track hot by 8.30 am weather looks great hot & sunny.

Thanks Andrew. Unfortunately I wont be able to make it now. There's some more money down the drain. Front drivers side shock is broken and I can't get another for a few days. (99 ACR, those Konis are unbelievably expensive) Local Dodge dealer Quoted $3100 each shock.

This is not a Viper Days Event. I've brought spectators before and it's no big deal. I'm bringing two 14-year olds who are into cars.....of course. It's not like they drive, and they just hang around and watch. Besides, as I get older, I need a pit crew. I also need someone to take videos. If times are tough, I'll buy them lunch.
