Ok before you think about Rotors, what exactly do you intend to do with the car?
The reason I ask is that I have Baer Eradi speed 2 peice rotors fitted to my 2000 GTS. My car was used a few times at Button Willow Raceway Prior to it comming over to me in the UK. When I took the wheels off to clean up the suspension components I found this!
I posted up on the VCA fourms and also contacted Baer. They were very helpfull. The end result was this: They said cracking is an issue due to excessive heat, however you would only need to change / replace the Discs if the cracks joined from Hole to Hole!! They also said there was information about this in the Corvette owners manuals!
Slotted and Drilled, Ok for Street use.
Slotted only for Race use.
Both types of rotors are available from Baer
Im still saving for new parts, so for the time being have put back the front OEM Rotors No cracks
