Baseline dyno results on the \'06 SRTC
I joined the Ferrari Club for their dyno day today so that I could get a baseline on my new coupe. There were some amazing cars there including an F40, new F430, 3 Lambos and many other Ferraris. Of course they made me wait until last since I was not a member of the club, but I didn't mind since they were nice enough to let me run. My coupe has 650 miles on it with the first 500 kept below 3000 rpm and only one spirited run before the dyno.
Results: 434.3 rwhp and 465.1 rwtorq. I was disappointed since I was expecting about 10 more hp than it tested. I'm not sure which is the correct way to convert to crank numbers (assuming 15% drive line loss):
multiply x 1.15 = 499.4 and 534.8
divide by .85 = 510.9 and 547.2
I'm thinking that the SRT/10s I watched dyno a couple of years ago were putting out 445 rwhp. Is that correct?
What stock numbers have others been getting, especially with coupes (factory stock)?
By the way, the F40 hit 490 rwhp and the F430 hit 429 rwhp
