Bay Area Viper Techs?

I got my new Viper over the weekend (new to me). It's a 1996 Shelby colors RT/10, in beautiful condition.

I don't believe there's per se any issues with it as it was well cared for, and runs great, but I wouldn't mind having a nice tune up on it, and have someone just do a basic proactive checkup on it. The only thing I could find is that the clutch pivot bushing appears to be shot as it's a PITA to engage the starter w/the clutch peddle.

Can anyone recommend a Dodge dealer with a well qualified Viper Tech in either the East Bay (Pleasanton/Walnut Creek/Concord/Brentwood area) or South Bay (San Jose, Santa Clara or abouts)?

Anyone know about how much a tune up runs?

I'd like to make sure the throttle bodies are synched (unless it's easy to do your self?), as well as check the timing and such.

Welcome to the Viper world. Fix for clutch is very simple to do and so is throttle adjustment. I live in Pleasant Hill, if you want to come by house I will do both for you or give me a call. Also for another excellent Viper tech try Stoneridge Chrysler Dodge in Dublin. Last month they had a very interesting and informative Viper Tech session for the Nor Cal Viper Club and then took all of us to lunch at *******. They have 2 very good Viper Techs.

My Machine shop is in Santa Clara. I work on my own Viper, But my shop works on the Space Shuttle.
A trip down to visit Ted will give you a god overview of what is being done to local Vipers, CC's as well as SRT-4's. Stone Ridge is a good choice for Warrantee work.

I used to live in Pleasant Hill too, but moved out to Brentwood when it came time to get a house about three years ago. I really like the PH/WC area, it's a nice area. I'll definitely join the Nor Cal Viper Club at the June meeting. I went out last August to the BBQ they had out in Tracey to meet the folks and learn more about Vipers when I was thinking about making the switch from Musgtangs to Vipers, looks like a great group of folks.

Viper Dan, that sounds like a pretty high tech machine shop! I'll give Ted a shout once I get some of these smaller projects knocked out.
