OK, it's not a bell, but the rattle does sound a bit like a bell.

At certain speeds a vibration will cause a rattle in the convertible top latch. Do you have any idea what need to be tightened in it?

thanks,

Are you sure it's the latch? Mine had some noises at the small round posts that engage the windshield header. I wrapped the posts with self-adhesive black Velcro 3/4" strips (the fuzzy side, not the hook side). That fixed the clicking noise. All the contact points along the header should be through rubber (except the latch), otherwise you will get noise. Also, owned a car which the rearview mirror resonated, might check that. It's a good idea to have someone in the passenger seat put pressure on various points (while you drive to) see if they can squelch the vibration noise and give a more precise location. If it sounds like a bell, the latch spring itself might be loose, but I'm not sure how to fix that short of a new one.

I'm not sure of the exact location of the noise, but you've given me some great ideas. Hopefully I'll get it sorted out by fall when top-up weather returns.
