OEM here also...have grabbed a couple of Goodyear "Gatorbacks" for quick repairs at the track which seemed fine...can't speak to longevity as they weren't my Vipers.

What is the life expectancy of these ?
After a brief look at 94, 97, 99, 01, and 06 service manuals...it seems that 60,000 miles is the point where it is mentioned to inspect, possibly change this belt.
I think many of us check it much more frequently ...always visually when hood open, hands on when changing oil or any other work in engine area.
