Best Source on a 14 or Order 15?

So I learned the 15 won't be here until like January. Debating a 14. Who is offering the best deals? I want a blue/white stripe launch style.

I thought the blue with white stripe GTS Launch Edition color scheme was only offered in 2013 on the actual numbered LE cars. They would be available now for considerably less than buying a 15 if you want a GTS trim level car.

for 2014 there were 8 gts blue with white stripe cars built. all came here to canada.

you cant order a 2015 viper gts blue with white stripes. only in 2013 and 2014

the colour is gts-r blue. which is a dark blue like on the ram trucks.

If want an LE (#'d car), they were only made in 2013 and numbered 1-150.
the Canadian cars are that same color combo, but not numbered

So, if that is the color combo you want, what you do is determined by where you live. If in the US and you want that color combo, you are looking for a 13. some still exist.

Not sure why you would wait for a 15 unless you want one of the new color combos as that is really the only difference, and you get to pay more...

Would $100k ($140k sticker) on a new 13 Launch Blue/White stripes GTS with 300 miles be too much? I figure that is about how much a 15 GTS might be. Would I be an idiot to spend that on 13' launch?

That sounds reasonable to me, and from what you said it is the car and color combo you want. I think it's easy to fall into the trap of thinking you should be able to steal any Gen V you find because on the forums you can get the impression that everybody is, but I suspect that is not the case, and the more desirable cars being given away are more the exception than the rule. Hopefully you can comparison shop more than one LE to negotiate your best deal...just don't miss out by being unreasonable. Good luck!

Seems about right to me on price. Have gotten 3 different dealers to agree to $100,000 +/- on new GTS coupes with original MSRP (pre-Sep '14 "15k reduction) of $140,000 or so. I just need to pick a color combo. Two were '14's and 1 was a '13 with just 2 miles. I kind of like the '13 best but not sure that makes sense with '14's for same price. One of the '14's can be had for $96,000 but it did have about 200 miles on it but is new on showroom floor.
