I am looking at getting some new wheels and I cannot decide, chrome or black. I am looking for opinions/pics of what looks best...silver with chrome wheels or silver with black wheels?

How bout both - Black Chrome. (Hope the owner of this Viper doesn't mind me posting) I have Calchrome rims on my Kandy Serpent and I think black chrome would look good on a Silver Viper.

I think Rocket may be on to something. Black chrome on a silver car. I like the idea, but I have not seen it. I like regular bright chrome on a silver car though. I think black dulls down a car... just my opinion...

Looks like 2 giant black holes... with a speck of red. I think it is just the picture quality.

For me, black wheels makes them visually disappear.

I know they are not a popular wheel but I like my "chrome" (actually polished) ten spokes on my silver.

Great look Mopar Steve. Love it! We are looking at getting the same hardtop. I am guessing that is the Jeff Lemke hardtop?
blackchrome electroplate is not as strong as blkchrome powdercoat as u c in the top post of the 5 spoke. i have both,cal chrome quit the electro due to gov standards in california for now but other companies still do the electroplate and i like it better.the top post is blkchrome powdercoat

Black chrome electro or powder coat gets my vote in fact I like it so much my 08 ACR is getting it this winter!
I like polished more than chrome, chrome has this effect of almost "cloaking" the wheel. It is so reflective you can't appreciate the design of the wheel, all you see is a reflection of everything around it. Black is similar in that it hides the wheel, blending in with the tire and the wheel well, almost like the car is floating or something to that effect.

I like a black/ chrome combination wheel (black face/chrome lip)
I think Chrome outshines a silver/lightgrey paintjob and takes away from it. Im not sure how i feal about Black wheels... I'd have to see it in person on a silver snake.
My vote is for black, gunmetal,or blackchrome, With a Chrome or Polished Lip
