I have a 2000 blk GTS. I pamper the cars body alot but always seem to see straight slight scratch marks..You cant feel it, but they are so thin u can see them only with a flourecent light or when it gets a litle dusty.. No swirl marks, since i use the 3M glaze alot. Does anyone have any suggestions on how i can remove this?? Its driving me nutts.

the fine scratches are often caused by the towels used to dry and polish your car. Be sure to use only 100% cotton bath towels like Fieldcrest. Money well spent. Also, bear in mind that most products made to "remove" scratches are just cutting the surrounding paint to be at the same level as the scratch. using Zaino #5 will fill these hairline scratches..not cut your paint.

I do all my Zaino work in the garage. Less pollen/dust, and the paint doesn't get hot in the sun. Instead of cotton towels, I use birdseye diapers.

Before my last car show I spent two days polishing the beast under the flourescents in my garage, and the tiny scratches never disappeared. I got to the show the next morning and all the judges wanted to know *how* I got my black car so shiny and with no swirl marks.

It turns out that the tiny swirls I was stressing about only show up under flourescents- not daylight.
