Obviously brake pad life will vary by driver (how much/hard they brake) and the type of brake pad they use, but I would like to hear how long SRT brake pads have been lasting, especially stock pads - anybody drive theirs enough to report on this?

I haven't driven mine hard enough or long enough to know how long the pads last, but I would speculate that if your not constantly slamming the brakes at 150mph+ and you don't track the car, they should last 25K-35K miles before obvious wear is noticed.

For street use, I can confirm that at 27K miles, the stock pads barely show any wear....

On my RT, I had to changed the pads and rotors after 17K miles and I do not track or race the car!! Do not know why, but had to. Even Chuck said they needed to be replaced. I thought maybe they were a bad set but when Chuck did my 30K service, I was told the pads were at 60% after 13K miles so I guess 25K is the shelf life.

RT and SRT may well vary significantly. For EBC greens on my RT, they would last 30k no problem.

I've put 40K miles on my 2004 SRT-10 OE Brembo brake pads. This includes stopping from 170 mph at the Silver State "1/2 mile shoot out" 6 or 7 times, 2 Viper Days track events and two dozen or more stops at the drags from 140 ish. I do drive the car aggressively from time to time on the street too.

I'd estimate that they have about 33% life remaining. I bought new pads and rotors from the dealer a year ago, but still don't need them.

They have worn very well so far.
