Bubbles Under Paint

I've got a one owner 1994. Around 25,000 miles on it. Never been hit. In the last year I've discovered small bubbles under the paint on the hood and around the gas filler. Is this common or am I just lucky ?

Not uncommon...many hoods were replaced. A search here will reveal more history.

I just went through this nightmare having my hood and front fascia repainted. The hood bubbled near the vent on the hood after about a month after repaint. Be sure to tell your painter about this for there is some special prep that needs to be done.

Body resin can gas off and get trapped between body and paint. Unfortunately common.
