Hey carguy07, It was a local cop and not a statey of all things. This story just keeps getting better cuz I clicked on the article that you linked in your post and the 1st thing I saw was; "You're more likely to win the lottery than get targeted by an Akron police officer aiming a radar gun."
Oh well, that's par for the course I guess... thanks for the news article.

The reply from the state cop I was stopped by was I would have been clocked at 40 over if i was in that car. He let me know that he just wanted to see the car then up drives the sargent and the cop says I am sorry I have to right you a ticket. I said no problem I haven't had a ticket in 30 years. All said it was a great time being I was going down the highway with 20 other Vipers and he wanted to see mine.

i agree with 2. but I'm neutral on 1. Having a radar detector in your car is an admission of guilt in some police officers eyes
