Yes Trey, I've been terrorizing LR for a month now. Very few
Vipers here, I've seen a few, but they aren't on the street
enough for me to hook up with them(don't know if they visit the
forum or not). The big thing here now is someone got a 1/8 mile
track built downtown, and every other weekend, they host 1/8th
mile drag races(SAT night and Sun all day). But, I've had to
take it easy if you know what I mean. We're not blessed with
dealers or tuners here(that will work on Vipers), so as of now
I'm just attracting victims. The schedule for drag races is
Aug 24th & 25th, Sept 7,8th , and Sept 14, 15th.
Anyone driving down I-40 this way, should stop and set a new
track record, since it's only been open a month - it could be
done.

Actually Trey, my special surprise was a full inside-out detail
job!!!! WOW!!!! No, really, if you can imagine how trashed out
my car was from setting in a corner(uncovered) at the dealer
for 6 months. I was ********** to say the least, when I found
out about it. But it's in the past now, and it runs like a top,
so I'm happy now, and want to keep it that way.
Well I guess we hijacked this thread and got Wayne off the hook.
He probably has so much going on, the least of his worries is
who's calling him out.

I'd love to see your LPE car run, although I don't know if the VOI venue will permit non-Vipers. I have a lot of respect for LPE's work, especially their TT packages, and they can be insanely fast. Is yours an auto tranny car?

Why? That's something I haven't figured out yet. But I have my suspicions.

I wish HP (Hugh Perkins) had a Lethal 750, he'd definitely show up to lay it down.

Hey Norm,
After I saw "The Fast and the Furious" I told Doug he needed to put two NOS bottles in my car... 'cause if it's good enough for Vin Diesel, it's good enough for me! He said it was OK to run the nos lines straight into the airbox, as long as we also sprayed lots of fuel into the blower, and the impeller would help "atomization" or something like that.
I told him that in case the Texas guys were coming to the drags, I also wanted to weld a JATO rocket to the roof. He said that was part of his "Level 5" package, and it would really help 1/4 mile MPH, but braking distances would suffer. I told him to go for it.
As for NOS and turbos, like Doug said you'd have to be crazy. I saw them do that in F&F, and it was on a Supra which was wicked fast, faster than a blown Hemi I think. Everybody knows there's nothing faster than a Supra, so I don't think you should even try.
