Can someone explain why I made more power?

You go to the right dyno operator who always uses the same criteria and you will see your gains from mods..Not always what you want to see..Trust me $2600 for the aem just to pick up 5 rwhp was a real bummer

Thats the entire problem =who knows if it was the octaine or did the dyno operator do something like strap the car down differently or run the car at a different operating temp .So many nuances can effect the numbers how can one really tell.

That was at a Viper Dyno day last year, my low 514 hp showed a very erratic curve with lots of small spikes, not smooth at all and all the other guys were getting smooth regular curves on the graph. He figured I probably had a bad tank of gas, that's why I returned a week later after 2 tankfull of good 94 oct and then got 545 hp.

You go to the right dyno operator who always uses the same criteria and you will see your gains from mods..Not always what you want was BOB IDA (GOOGLE HIM ,hes a pretty famous hot rod -engine builder so (LOL) i think he just might kno what hes doing ).I pulled up some of my dyno sheets .In a 4 year period i had over 150 pulls EVERY time i went (sometimes without doing a damn thing to the car )that dyno spit out a different number plus or minus 25 to the tire so please dont try to tell me how consistant they are.

Dragon rider, throw some slicks on the back and i believe with your car you can see 10.99 . If your running 11.40 on Ps2 you get a great launch and lose the wheel hop between gears, you maybe just be able to pull that 10.99 with a perfect run.

That may be possible Nixon. I'm hoping to get another run this spring and if the weather is good, drop into the 11.2's on PS2's. If I run 11.2 I may try drag radials, but I'm afraid stuff might start breaking in the driveline.

Nixon you are right there also. Did you run your 11.52 on street tires. Our times and trap speed are almost the same.
