Boy , this post brings back good memories!!! I had the same decision back last fall. I always "thought" I wanted a red/silver gts, till I saw the Final Edition red/white...

I could not decide, and I had to "see" the both combos...And I was lucky to find a dealer who had both gts on the show room floor! As I entered the floor with my wife, we both stood back and saw both colors...Without a doubt...RED/WHITE...Absolutely STUNNING to say the least!!!!
That was MY CHOICE!

It doesn't really matter what this poll brings, the color combo is for you, and that is what matters. Do your self a big favor and see both combos, then decide for yourself!

WHITE - great colour and name besides, then you can do a Remmy on it and draw on the white stripes with crayons.... or go really left field and let your kids do it.... stay away from dolphins tho.

I'll paint the stripe for you for free if you like - I have a 5" wide brush

thanks for the help. i guess that narrows it down to silver...........or white.
i thought i wanted silver but then saw one with white and wasn't so sure. then i thought black, but ended up back at silver or white.
i'm leaning silver...............or white.

white will make your car stand out more, a little more racey lookin' and looks damn nice when spotted from far away.


Then there is always silver......

I think that white looks more bold, and silver looks more classy. But it really comes down to personal tastes as they both look great.

For me, I'd pick silver stripes.

At least you will be different as there are not that many black striped RED Vipers out there. I like silver though as well. Good luck either way!!

Silver will look more stock for your year, with your wheels everyone will look twice and then go, nope not a final edition but an older car with a custom stripe, with silver you will look like a from the factory car, just my extra 2 cents, ultimately you have to pick what you like.

Wow, were the black stripes ever an option on red cars? Someone here has an avatar of a GTS with black stripes and I think it looks really unique.

I like both, but the silver is my fave because it isn't as stark. Either way you cannot go wrong.

There were far too many "final" edition GTS's made, so that a silver stripe will actaully be more unique.

Silver! Looks stock, more classy, less out there. With white, you fall in with the others that did white stripes (nothing against them, most were before the Final Editions) and a whole bunch of the FEs. I would say go for something different (like black or grey), but you kinda ruled that out.

The only factory stripes on red Vipers are silver and white. You may have seen the black stripes on Tony's (Vipermad, forum moderator, head honcho, etc.) GTS.

Graphite. Silver. There was even one with lime greens in the latest issue of Viper Qrt. Anything but white - too FE-ish....
