Can\'t Get Into My RT/10

Well the battery is completly dead so the remote entry will not work. And on top of all things I left the key to open the rear window in the car.

I called the dealer and they only recommended taking off the left rear tire to get to the battery. It's pretty damn cold in MI. Anyone have an other suggestions that are within reason?

Thanks

Warm Jacket
Gloves
Jack
Lug Wrench
Socket set
Quick boost/charge

....and 'yer in!

Not sure if the locksmith will be able to get you in without damaging the existing cylinder of the window

I don't know about the Gen 2s (mine is a 96) but can't you just pop the hood and hook some jumper cables up to the post there to get enough juice to open the door?

Just jump your dead battery under the hood to a second car for a few minutes (no need to get to your battery). Should be enough to work the remote entry.

After that, you'll probably have to replace the battery.
