Sorry she is filthy, but wanted everyone to see the new look. I installed the Vipair and eibachs/caps last week then she went straight to the Vinyl shop to get the hood striped and I just got her back home covered in dust. Will try and get her cleaned up and good pics later this week:2tu:.

Oh I had the hood vents painted Gun metal metallic to match the stripes and wheels, looks real sweet in person.

Hmm...I think I am starting to prefer the OEM hood over the Vipair.

Nonetheless, the car looks awesome! Your tasteful, well thought out mods go a long way to improving the look of the car.

Can you compare the ride quality between stock and now with the Eibach/cap combo?

Wow looks incredible man!

Love the look, and the stripes are perfect with those wheels!

Seeing your car is really making me want to add caps to the front of my car.

Thanks guys. I am really happy with the outcome. I cant wash it for 24 hours because the vinyl has to cure and its driving me crazy:omg:.

The ride is still very nice even sitting low as she is. At this ride heigth its still ALOT better ride then the stock suspension and runflats:2tu: The Invos are a really nice riding and sticky tire.

There is another one happy with the hood. I like the color choice of the vents. It matches everything perfectly. So what did you end up using for the vents? Excellent upgrades and it really sets your viper apart.

Actually the Carbon hood came with the vents. And I am impressed with how strong the mesh vents are. I figured they would be flimsy and cave in with any pressure put on them but not the case.

VicTxV10 is right on about the hood, basically the Vipair hood is the cowl hood of the Viper world:2tu:.

love the pic but for a different reason altogether... it's totally **** b/c of the 2 vipers, the mercedes suv, and the house... which one doesn't fit? you've got your priorities in the right place and I love how you can just park in your yard:headbang:

I see your point and yes it is funny, all my family and friends get a kick out of how my life and priorities "appear" to a third party. But just to clear things up I am what alot of peeps call weird cause the Viper, the blue C6 vert(other viper your were referring to) and the Mercedes ML350 sport and my POS work truck are all paid for in cash, no liens, all mine. Along with the cars, the house in the back ground is also paid for and more than half the new home I am currently building is also paid for.

You see I live debt free and if that means living in an older paid for home (I remodeled) for 5 years to build up a large amount of cash to get a head start on our dream home and not owe 110% of it value the day we move in then I will certainly make a sacrifice like that. But dont think for a second I will sacrifice my toys:D. But wait ironically I am about to put the Viper up for sale because I am (in my opinion and according to my budgeted plan) over budget on the new home and that is not acceptable. So I guess I will make the ultimate sacrifice:( after all. And before everyone starts in: I bought the wife the vette as a surprise gift so it will never leave:2tu:.

Thanks FLATOUT it makes me feel better to hear that, you'd be surprised how many people get offensive about this way of living. I guess they look at my paid for "stuff" then they look at their big payment books that go along with all their "stuff" and it make them mad(I guess):dunno:. You know I am 31 last week and at age 24 I was in debt up to my eyeballs and about bankrupt(and miserable to boot) and I had to do something fast. So I mad a plan, I sacrificed and "lived like no one else" so now I can "live like no one else":2tu::headbang:.

I do hate that I am having to sell the Viper but I know it will come back triple fold. Like maybe a 09 ACR next year:2tu:

Oh buy the way your red vert is AWESOME

congrats bmw2nv2000!!! I hope you didn't take my comments as a slam in any way. I'm 35 and have a similar situation but not as well off financially as you are:) I've got a roommate, 2 cycles and 2 cars, and no debt other than 80% of what I could sell my home for and 50% of what my snake is worth, both good investments I think.

It's nice to hear about the younger guys that have nice toys, I turn alot of heads up here in my toys but don't find too many people let alone under 50 that have vipers etc and if they do they don't drive them:)

OH hell no, no offense taken bud. My wife and I are always laughing about what we look like to outsiders(drug dealers) and we've been asked a lot of times what do y'all "Deal In":rolaugh::rolaugh:. I just wanted to let my friends here know my priorities aren't completely out of wack though Im far from perfect;).

Anyway sounds like you are doing better than alot of people I know. Good luck with everything bud:2tu:

You know the statistics say If a person in the US has no debt except for their house and has $15k(cash) or more in savings then you are in the top 6% of Americans financially.

Thanks for the compliment I appreciate it.

I am active duty Enlisted Military but I am getting out next month after 10 years of service and I to have been trying to get my stuff paid off. I am selling my house here and the money is paying off the Viper, and is also going to be put down on my new house in Houston. Sure we could of bought a bigger place, but we wanted a mortgage that we could double up on every month so that we could have a situation like what you have.

Anyways if your keeping debt free like that then I am sure you will be back into something awesome in no time!

I do have a question though if your selling the Viper why do all the mods to it?

The decision to sell has come in the last couple of days:(. I already had the mods and installs were already scheduled. Its ok at least I get to drive her a couple of weeks and enjoy the mods before she goes, cause I know every dime on mods I spent is money lost:mad:.

Good luck FLATOUT you are doing very well IMO and thanks soooo much for your service I do admire your courage to protect us all:2tu::headbang:.

What is the asking price for the sale??? Just noticed in the thread you are selling it.
I have that audio book... I listen to it while I am out traveling for work. Its great advice and has really helped me "Live like no one else"... although I am not at your level yet.

By the way, the car look AWSOME!!! Cant wait to see it in person some day. :2tu:

Hey Chip. :(SADLY I will not be there now for a good reasons my wife is very sick with flu symptoms and I would not ever want to be left home alone if I were sick while she took off on a fun weekend(and I know she would never do that to me). I am very upset about this but I don't want her to know that, I know she would (and does) feel guilty about me missing out meeting all you guys. I know y'all will have a blast and besides I could never win a trophy against the meticulous cars everyone here has. Best of fun and pleeeease be careful this weekend.

Oh well I guess the good thing is whoever buys the car will get it with a few hundred less miles since I cant go.

Texas: Dave Ramsey rocks. Of course his plan works better(faster) if you can make a few million a year like him LOL Thats why it taking so long for me.

My viper is an 2004, 8200 miles, mods see my sig below. Gonna ask 37,000
