Catalyst Monitor will not dissipate for smog??

What I mean is when smogging the car all OBD monitors must be cleared, all have disappeared but the [h=2]Catalyst Monitor...[/h]

Oh, was not sure what you were taking about. If you still have cats, could be a bad cat or O2 sensor.

The readiness monitors take some time to set, the on that takes the longest is the Catalyst. It can take up to 10 days. I have been through this debacle with other vehicles. You need to drive it more. If the PCM finds an problem, it will throw a check engine light prior to the readiness monitor for catalyst being in the ready position. Several over the counter OBD II readers will check the readiness monitors for you. Just keep in mind, anytime you clear a code, the monitors all reset.
