Well ... Although the Gen I II have a more classic/attractive shape. The SRT looks much better as a convertible.

Yep, thank God DC didn't just cut the top off a GenI&II and make that the SRT10 Vert., like they did with the rear of the new Coupe! :p

Don't get caught out in any inclement weather in this abortion. Why would anyone pay good money to depreciate a dayum nice car!?

I have seen this "barchetta" car in person. The roll-hoop removal looks good, but I recall the the car in general is pretty hammered. Really brings out the Cobra influence of the Viper without the roll-hoop. Have no idea about any structural work underneath the rear cowl.

I can't imagine spending good money to make the car so you can't put a top on it. I bet the only person that winds up buying this says "Hey look, I can get a real honest to goodness Viper and it's less than $30k! Too bad it looks like an out-of-water fish sucking air with that butchered front end.

The sport bar is what sets the RT/10 off and I think it would do the same for the SRT. Of course, that's not possible on the SRT since so many whined about the RT/10 not being a "true" convertible.

Personaly I like the original smooth look car.Very custom to begin with.Smooth and clean. That car would be awesone with a what do you call it classic kick up over an individual hoop behind driver and passenger that tapers down and back in the body work. You know like a D-type jag racer. Also would add a tail kick up rear spoiler built in not a bolt on.Also remove all lettering, symbols etc. GTS Bruce

Just looked at the P car.Yeech!Puke!.Normaly when I see a p-car I have respect for a car that is in reality a 1930 VW bug that has been on steroids for 50 years.Works good, very capable and people even still buy it.A good daily driver .I don't get what they get from a p-car except the name. However that Vomit P-car rivals a certain vomit Viper. It does not look horriable.

Besides, I think the owner was trying to model his Viper after the concept Vipers.

Sorry this next one is small and I don't have a larger pic.

I like it without the roll hoop, really cleans up the lines.

But with that big open grill, it reminds me of a whale sweeping the ocean for small fish.
